Container Sizes
We offer a variety of containers in a variety of sizes to accommodate jobs of all sizes. Capacity
Each of our bin and roll-off containers are designed to hold no more than a specific amount of tonnage. If your tonnage goes over the tons quoted in your order, you will be charged additional costs. Certain materials including dirt and concrete are very heavy in comparison to equal volumes of vinyl, cardboard, wood, aluminum siding and everyday trash. Before putting any heavier materials in our containers, make sure you review the terms and conditions of your contract regarding tonnage. You may also contact your customer service representative.
Do not fill our containers above the marked water line, even with light material like paper, vinyl and cardboard.

Acceptable Materials
Only solid waste items are permitted into containers. Items that are NOT permitted are radioactive, volatile, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, toxic or hazardous materials. No free liquids of any kind are allowed in the container. Additional requirements may apply based upon locality. Liability for appropriate waste remains with the customer as agreed to in the terms and conditions of your contract. Items that are NOT permitted in our roll-off containers are hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, oil filters, herbicides & pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids), other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission oil/lubricating/hydraulic oil/ oil filters, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.), antifreeze, appliances, petroleum contaminated soil/lead paint chips, tires, batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, microwaves, fluorescent tubes, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels, all liquids. Material must be lower than or level to the top of the roll-off container.

Ordering
You can order by phone during regular business hours. There is no guaranteed delivery time, so if you need a container for early morning, please schedule delivery for the day before.

Delivery
It is not necessary to have someone on site. Our drivers are experienced professionals. Unless you provide precise placement instructions, our driver will use his best judgment and place the container in the safest accessible area. Please note that if an onsite contact is not available for delivery, you will be responsible for all charges involved with relocation of the dumpster should it be necessary. Also, if our driver comes for removal and you are not ready for your container to be picked up, we will charge an additional fee for wait time or a second trip.

Placement
To guarantee clearance during delivery and pick up, you should provide a space for the container that will accommodate double the amount of the width and height of the container. If you want to place the container on the street, please check with your local municipality, as permits may be required. If we are placing on a surface such as a driveway or pavement, we strongly recommend that you protect it with a 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood. You must also make sure that access to the drop off location is strong enough to endure the weight of our equipment and the vehicle required to perform the contracted service. The customer assumes all liabilities for damages to private driving surfaces, pavement or road surfaces and entire container placement site. River Parish Disposal will not be responsible for any damages to any private driving surface, pavement or accompanying subsurface of any route associated to perform the service that was contracted.

Removal
It is not necessary to have someone on site. You must, however, provide unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled pick-up day. If our container is not accessible, you will be charged additional pick-up fees. If our driver comes for removal and you are not ready for your container to be picked up, we will charge an additional fee for wait time or a second trip. There is an additional charge for keeping the container longer than designated in your order.

Rush Services
Rush or emergency services will be based upon location and availability. We will try to accommodate your request, but our policy is to require order placement at least one business day in advance to allow for processing.

Additional Hauls
You can add additional hauls to your order, but you will be charge the full initial quoted amount for each additional haul.

Changes/Cancellations
Please have your contract available for any changes to your order, including changes in container size, or location or date of delivery of pickup. If location is changing, please have the new service address, as well as directions and contact information, for the location change. Allow at least one business day for processing any changes or cancellations. Changes and cancellations may incur fees as contract terms and conditions apply.

Garbage Terms
Drop Off: Delivery container
On Call: not on schedule, call in for dumps
Swap/Dump: swap out full container with an empty container; drop off a new empty container & pick-up full container
Dump & Return: dump full container & return empty container; pick-up full container & dump at landfill then container is returned
Keep: Remove container
Relocate: move container to another location
Trip: driver was unable to complete service
Extra Dump: on schedule but need another dump

Payment
We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Master Card, Visa, and Discover. Our price includes a one-time delivery and pick-up for selected container size along with standard disposal, fuel, and taxes.
