Beignet Fest celebrates New Orleans’ most iconic dessert: the beignet.
From traditional sweet treats to savory delicacies that feature seafood, cheese and more, Beignet Fest serves up the best beignets in the South. The festival features a diversity of restaurant vendors; local and regional musical entertainment; and family-friendly activities in the Kid’s Village presented by Ochsner Hospital for Children.
The Beignet Fest is on December 2, 2017, from 10:00 til 6:00pm at the City Park Festival Ground.
Awards are given for best traditional, best sweet, best savory, and crowd-favorite beignets. Proceeds from Beignet Fest benefit the Tres Doux Foundation. The mission of the Tres Doux Foundation is to celebrate, embrace and enhance the lives of children with developmental delays and disabilities by presenting them as whole beings, and to support organizations that do the same.
