River Parish Disposal was founded by Weldon Frommeyer, better known as Gator, in 1983 with one collection truck. River Parish has grown to be the largest fleet of trash collection trucks and containers in the Gulf South, with well over 100 employees. However, it remains a family affair with Gator’s wife, Loretta, his son, Brother, and son-in-law, Danny, running the day-to-day operations. River Parish Disposal is known for picking up trash, but also provides portable restrooms, compactors, restroom trailers, hand washing stations, and dumpsters. The River Parish Disposal family business believes in giving back to the community and supports a lot of charitable organizations.

We Support Lots of Charitable Organizations

There’s a long list of community groups that River Parish proudly supports, both locally based and national non-profit organizations. “As a family, we approach our involvement as neighbors helping neighbors. We want to do positive things out in the community and bring neighbors together.” Their support has been extended to such groups as the 610 Stompers, Hogs for a Cause, Team Gleason, Krewe of Barkus, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, the American Cancer Society, and many more. River Parish Disposal does so much more for the local community than haul trash because they truly do care about Louisiana.
