Doll & Toy Fund
On December 16, 2017, one of the most wonderful events take place in the city. The Times-Picayune Doll and Toy Fund will bring the children of New Orleans a little holiday cheer. Since 1986, The Doll and Toy Fund has taken place where children under 12 can come to the event and are guaranteed to leave with a free toy. Each child also will receive a snack bag of cookies or crackers and fruit and school supplies.
This year’s gift-giving distribution will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at Xavier University Convocation Center, 7900 Stroelitz St., New Orleans. More than 5,000 children representing our diverse community will attend, and for many it will be their only Christmas celebration.
The Doll & Toy Fund is supported entirely through public donations. We need to raise more than $100,000 to fund this year’s toy distribution and bring cheer to thousands of children and their families. 100% of your donation is used to purchase and distribute new toys to children in need.
Please donate $10, $100 or as much as you can. Any contribution helps, and donations are tax deductible. Click HERE to find out more.
