On Sunday, April 1, 2018, the 35th Annual Chris Owens French Quarter Easter Parade will be hitting the French Quarter streets.
The parade will begin 1:00pm on April 1 at the corner of St. Louis and Royal, continue down Royal to Canal to St. Phillip Street and conclude on St. Louis and Royal at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. Following the parade, revelers can enjoy a Champagne Brunch and dancing. The parade will be complete with colorful floats, marching bands, beads, Easter trinkets, and plenty of eager revelers.
Chris Owens is the Grand Duchess of the Easter Parade and will be dressed in her personally designed Easter ensemble which is complimented with her beautiful and exotic Easter Bonnet. The Duchess will lead the annual parade with family, friends and maybe even an Easter bunny.
Brunch, Silent Auction & Hat Contest
On April 1, 2018, Easter Sunday morning will begin at 11:00 am at the Omni Royal Orleans Grand Ballroom with a Silent Auction, Hat Contest, food and music. The guests will experience a wonderful family environment with great food and of course entertainment. Plus, the hat contests are lots of fun with a variety of categories to win. This in no ordinary hat contest…local notables will be the judges! Then of course at 1pm the French Quarter Easter Parade will begin.
