How Do River Parish Disposal Trucks Work?
Have you ever wondered how River Parish Disposal trucks work?
Did you know that they do more than “just” pick up your trash
Materials That Could Cause Trash Fires
There are some household items that can cause trash fires. Avoid putting flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline, oil-based paints, or kerosene in your trash. Other Hazardous materials that could cause fires include ammonia, bleach, pool chemicals, pesticides and paint thinners. Cylinders containing compressed gas such as propane, helium, oxygen, acetylene or fire extinguishers also should not end up in your garbage can. Ashes from fireplaces, fire pits or barbecue grills can also be responsible for trash fires. Rechargeable batteries that contain heavy metals, including lithium, nickel cadmium or lead-acid and should also stay out of your trash. The danger is that when these types of items are mixed, or come in contact with, other substances that could be in the trash, the combination can be volatile and catch fire.
