Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest
Rain or Shine, on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from Noon-8pm, the Pinch-A-Palooza Festival will take place on the lot adjacent to Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown located at 1713 Lake Avenue in Metairie.

Just in time for crawfish season, Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant presents the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest featuring live performances by Roux the Day, The Topcats, Bucktown All-Stars, Vince Vance & The Valiants, and Cowboy Mouth—plus the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Contest. The Pinch A Palooza Kids Crawfish Eating Contest returns for its second year for crawfish lovers age 6 to 12 to compete for the title of Pinch A Palooza 2018 Junior Crawfish Eating Champion.

Actor, comedian, host and New Orleans native Johnny Rock will emcee the Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest. Rock was born with a funny bone and became a stand-up comedian at 18 years old. In 1984 he placed 3rd in Showtimes’ “Funniest Person in America” competition for the state of Louisana. Rock continues to live and act in New Orleans and can be seen in over 30 movies.

The 610 Stompers will perform on the Pinch A Palooza stage for the 7th year this year. When the 610 Stompers are there, you know it’s gonna be fun! The all-male dance krewe has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to local charities and performed at countless events since starting out in 2009.

For the little ones, we’ll have free face-painting, inflatables, a balloon artist, plus fun games and activities like crawfish races and the world’s only Live Crawfish Tic Tac Toe table! Plus, the lovable mascot Pincher will be dancing to tunes, handing out hugs, and taking selfies with fest-goers all throughout the day.

Grab a lawn chair and a neighbor and head on over to Pinch A Palooza!

River Parish Disposal:

With all of this crawfish, the Pinch-A-Palooza is definitely going to need a lot of trash cans…But, don’t worry the River Parish Disposal team has got it taken care of. We will be supplying a 15 yard dumpster, portable toilets, hand sanitizer, and disposable boxes with Liners.

Our Business Stinks, but it’s picking up!
