One Pig, Two Pig, Red Pig, Blue Pig
It is that time of year for St. Edward’s Famous Cochon De Lait Fair. The 52nd St. Edward Cochon de Lait’s theme is “One Pig, Two Pig, Red Pig, Blue Pig.” The three-day event, which will be held Oct. 20- 22 and at the church’s parking lot 4921 W. Metairie Avenue in Metairie. The fair will include various rides, games and music entertainment. But, if you are coming for the food, you will be pleased with all sorts of great food like barbecue plates, pork dinners, cracklings and lots more. You will also see delicious local cuisine, including fried catfish and shrimp dinners, crawfish pies, jambalaya, hamburgers, pizza, hot dogs, nachos and more! With live music, arts and crafts and family friendly fun, you do not want to miss this festival! Proceeds from the event benefited the church and school.
