St. Matthew’s Crawfish Boil

Crawfish Boil - River Parish DisposalOn Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 3pm-11pm at St. Matthew The Apostle School located on 10021 Jefferson Hwy in River Ridge, the St. Matthew’s Men club is hosting a crawfish boil. This is a wonderful family event with music, food and lots of fun.

The Crawfish:

If you like crawfish and want to start the season our right, then the St. Matthew’s Crawfish Boil is the place to be on April 14. This is a cook-off which means that event goers will get the opportunity to try crawfish prepared by different teams. The space is limited to just 50 teams, so if you want to participate as one of the Crawfish Cook-off teams, click HERE for more details.

Entertainment:

At 4:30pm Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. will hit the stage, entertaining with great Zydeco music. “Zydeco music is a bubbling, melodic gumbo concocted from Cajun/Acadian music, Afro-Caribbean rhythms and melodies, and blue,” according to Dopsie. At 7pm, Snapper and the Fishsticks  will follow with their unique song selection, fabulous blend of instrumental and high energy stage show.

St. Matthew’s Men’s Club:

SMMC was originally founded as St. Matthew Action Club (SMAC) in 1976 over 38 years ago. The club continues to operate as the founders intended.  SMMC is very fortunate to have an enormous amount of support from sponsors, members, families, and the attendees of all the events including the St. Matthew’s Crawfish Boil.

River Parish Disposal:

River Parish Disposal is providing Dumpsters, Toilets, hand-wash station, and disposable cardboard boxes for this great event. When it comes to crawfish parties and events, the River Parish Disposal teams knows how to take care mess from our essential hand-washing stations to the disposal cardboard boxes for the trash. Our Business Stinks, but It’s picking up!
