St. Philip Neri Men’s Club Annual Crawfish Cookoff
The St. Philip Neri Men’s Club annual Crawfish Cookoff has quickly become one of the largest fund raising events in the parish. For those new to the parish and school or unfamiliar with the event, the Cookoff pits teams from around the Metro area against each other in several categories including Best Crawfish, Potatoes, Sausage, and Lagniappe items.

What You Need To Know
The event, which will be held on Saturday, March 30th, is open to all teams that meet registration requirements and who are willing to have a great time. Teams range from backyard boilers to corporate sponsored groups, all coming together to help raise money. All proceeds from this event go directly to the school. Previous events have helped bring more Smart Boards to the classrooms and repair older Smart Boards, as well as purchase new and maintain equipment in the computer lab and other needed supplies.
The Crawfish Cookoff is more than just a chance to prove your boil is the best around, though. It’s a family friendly event with activities for everyone! There’s music and dancing, inflatables for all age groups, raffles for fun prizes and for items created by each classroom. Whether you are part of a team supplying delicious mudbugs for the hungry masses or part of the crowd enjoying the sun, fun, and other activities there’s something for everyone.
About The Club
Our meetings start at the beginning of each school year and are held on the first Thursday of every month. Dates for all meetings for the upcoming three months can be found below. Our meetings consist of three segments: the business portion, where the board discusses upcoming events and other club business, a guest speaker, and a dinner prepared by our very own cooks.
